Cooking for your family can take forever and be overwhelming! Often times we have to stop what we are working on and try to figure out what to make for dinner, usually at 4pm when we are the most exhausted. We race off to the grocery store and wander down the aisle aimlessly, or decide our time is just not worth it and order delivery. In this episode I share my three easy tips to meal planning. Meal planning definitely saves me time, money, and sanity. It insures that I do not have to figure out what to have for dinner at the time in the day when I feel the most exhausted. We end up eating healthier, not wasting food or buying food we already have, and spending less money by avoiding take out. Grab a notebook and pen, and get ready to save yourself some sanity!

It might look like a shared family calendar, a pin board, a chalk board, or a command center where you keep all the information that you want your people to know about all the things. Until just recently we only had a tiny calendar that lived on our refrigerator door. It was getting harder and harder to write out plans, and all the other information my family needed to know. My sweet husband put up a new calendar, chalk board, and magnet board for me, despite his extreme hate for doing such projects. Now I have a fun space where all my people can go to know all the things! It is wonderful, and makes me very happy! As extroverts we need to fill our social bucket! It is very important to have girlfriends that we can hang out with, have fun, and cultivate relationships. In our society so many social events involve meeting up for drinks or drinks at get togethers etc. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good glass of wine especially with a charcuterie board or a well cooked meal.
